Calahoo U13 & U15 Softball camp

From August 11 to 14, 2025, Calahoo Minor Softball proudly hosted a highly successful and engaging softball camp in Calahoo, specifically tailored for U13 and U15 players.

Under the expert guidance of instructor Demi Wildman, participants received focused and comprehensive training designed to significantly enhance their individual skills, teamwork, and overall understanding of the game. The camp provided a valuable and enriching opportunity for young athletes to develop their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment, with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, strategy, and sportsmanship.

We sincerely thank all players and families for their enthusiastic participation and look forward to offering more programs that foster and support continued growth in softball throughout the community.

Calahoo Minor ball

Our Calahoo Minor teams have had an outstanding season this year! The T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and U9 teams showed great enthusiasm and skill development throughout the season. They wrapped up their year on June 18 with a fun-filled game followed by a hot dog roast, creating wonderful memories for all players and their families.

These teams truly exemplified the spirit of learning and teamwork, making every event enjoyable and rewarding. Enjoy these photos and videos capturing the moments from their learn-to-play events throughout the summer. We’re proud of all their hard work and sportsmanship!

Calahoo Erins women’s Slo pitch - silver medallists

Congratulations to the Calahoo Erins Senior Women's slo pitch team on their outstanding performance at the 2025 Softball Alberta Provincials held in Lethbridge, AB from July 11-13, 2025!

The team fought hard and earned a well-deserved silver medal, finishing second after a close finals game against Aftermath, losing by just 4 runs. Their resilience shone through in a thrilling semifinal victory over Carnage, winning by 1 run in extra innings and executing a remarkable triple play that secured their spot in the championship game.

With this impressive achievement, the Calahoo Erins have officially qualified to represent Alberta as AB2 at the 2026 Senior Women's Slo Pitch Canadian Championship. Details regarding the location and dates of the national championship will be announced soon.

We are proud of your dedication, skill, and sportsmanship. Best of luck as you prepare to take on the best teams from across Canada next year!

U13A Edmonton Warriors

A HUGE shout and congratulations is in order for our U13A Edmonton Warriors!

This past weekend they qualified for A Level Provincials!! U13A Girls Provincials are to be held July 4-6 in Blackfalds, AB.

They came in 5th out of 14 teams in the two tiering events, one held in Red Deer and Stettler.

2025 Shakers Tournament

Another successful shakers tournament is under wrap! Thank you so much to all the teams, players, coaches, and fans for an amazing weekend at William F. Lede Park. What an amazing turn out for our 39th year!

We had 16 teams in our Open Event and 12 teams in our Second Event and a total of 76 games played from Friday June 6 till Sunday June 8.

Thank you to all the teams for baring the cold and extreme winds on Saturday, it’s not a Shaker’s tournament weekend without some weird weather! Thankful for the beautiful playoff Sunday weather we had though.

Big shout out to our beer gardens sponsor Sea Change Brewing and Shiddy’s Distillery, they were a big hit this weekend!

Lastly, thank you to everyone who supported our 50/50 Draw this weekend! Congratulations to Sue Miller with her winning ticket B-2436, taking home $3127.50 (license #737132).
